Jason's Memorial Fund

Dear friends, family and co-workers,

I am overwhelmed by the support that you have shown myself and Jason's family by attending Jason's Celebration of Life Ceremony (even when it was during the Superbowl), the very thoughtful condolences cards you have given to us, and the very generous donations that you have made to Jason's Memorial Fund. I am deeply touched and I can't thank you enough. Your compassion leaves me without the words to adequately express my gratitude.

I have to apologize because my writing of thank you cards has been a very slow process. It is emotionally hard for me to write each of these cards even though it is something that I really want to do, and my health has not been cooperating over the past month making it that much more difficult. I will get them written, but this is the reason why you might not have received yours yet. I also need your help, because when the Memorial Fund was set up, we figured they would give us a list of names of those who contributed. We have come to find out that they can only tell us the names of those that made a descriptive deposit. We had no idea this was the case, or we would have told everyone to make sure to have their names written next to their deposits. Most of the contributions do not have names and the bank has told me there is no way for me to find out who has left them. I am deeply frustrated by this and feel the bank should have warned us before we set up the memorial account.

So I am asking everyone for their help with three things. Will you please let me know if you have donated to Jason's Memorial Account. I desperately want to thank each of you for your generosity and I feel terrible that right now I am unable to do so. If you could let me know your name and mailing address, I would be incredibly grateful. Secondly, I do not have the email addresses for everyone that attended Jason's Ceremony, so could you please forward this on to anyone I might have missed or anyone that couldn't attend but might have made a donation. Finally, I am more than happy to make DVDs for anyone that wants a copy of the photo montage that we played at Jason's Ceremony. So please let me know if you would like a DVD and send me your mailing address and I will get the DVD shipped out to you as soon as I can.

Again, I can't thank you enough for your overwhelming compassion and I am so thankful to have so many caring people in my life!

Sincerely,
Deborah Jensen
