A Good Beginning

Today was a good beginning for Jason's next round of treatment. He said this is the best he has felt in a long time. He was able to walk to all his appointments - blood tests, x-rays, and doctor, which is a major improvement. He was admitted late this afternoon, and they'll start his chemo tonight.

Dr. Kim said today if this chemo treatment shrinks the tumor in his eye, he may get some of his eyesight back - wouldn't that be wonderful!

We have hopes he'll tolerate this week's treatment as well as the last time (except for the swelling).

Hi everyone! I'm glad to hear that today went so smoothly. Let's hope the rest of the week follows suit. We arrived safely back in San Diego. We really enjoyed our visit with you. Pita wasn't too mad at us, especially after I gave her the gourmet "canned" cat food. It is now time to get her nails cut because she has become velcro kitty, sticking to the carpet. Stay tuned to hear about my adventures getting Pita into a car!!!Good luck this week. I hope you get some sleep tonight.

I am stoked that Jason was able to walk in to his appointments, which means he is a couple steps closer to kickin all of our asses at Halo.

I want to come visit soon, I haven't seen a good tornado warning in about 18 years when I lived in Colorado. You guys are lucky !

My brother used to spot the wall clouds, and we would watch them form from atop the shed in our backyard .. they are truly magnificent.
