Friday

Today was pretty quiet. Jason got up late enough that Debby and I were able to watch the movie '27 Dresses' at Becky's recommendation. We liked it. Jason wouldn't have.

We didn't even venture out, except for the 2 walks that Jason took. He still wasn't feeling very good.

We did get good news about his blood work and everything looks great.

Debby found a large park about a half hour away that we want to check out - Lake Houston State Park. It was too much for Jason today, but hopefully next week he'll feel like taking a drive.

Hey Team Jensen. Glad the latest blood work looks good. We're hoping for a speedy recovery for you Jason, so you can get out for some walks. Thanks for the update, Marjorie.

Lorren suggested something that Debby can double check on. We have had pretty good success with GINGER tablets for nausea. We've used it on cruises & Cora has used it for general motional sickness issues.
Hope it helps,
Love Cora & Lorren

Good Morning Jason,
My name is Becky Baker and my husband David and I are good friends with your Aunt Carol. Praying that each day is stronger and better for you and Debbie. We took your Aunt Carol for a week getaway to Hilton Head, SC to give her a break in her new lifestyle with the live-in family. Hope today is better that yesterday..

Well - we finally got Pita in to get her claws trimmed. It actually went better than expected. We tried your technique of wrapping her up like a burrito in a towel (so she couldn't claw us) and then stuffing her in the kitty carrier. Somehow, she managed to get her two front paws stuck in the carpet so I had to extract the claws gingerly, but we got her in the carrier on the first try. She meowed all the way there. When we walked in, there were two dogs barking. She stopped meowing immediately. She was actually quite docile when the groomer removed her from the kitty carrier. She squirmed a bit, but then calmly allowed the woman to cut her nails. I think she was terrified in the new surroundings with the dogs. I was so amazed that she did not try to bite or scratch the woman. We will definitely take her back. She is very happy prancing around on the carpet with her new, shorter claws.
